Pumpkin Carving

I decided to get my whole family together and carve pumpkins. It wasn't really something we did as kids (too much of a mess) We sure had fun all carving our pumpkins. Here's a few pictures of the night. enjoy ;)
Tyson carving his master piece (I don't think he has the patience for pumpkin carving, he was the first one done)
Coby and Tai, Coby wouldn't let us see his pumpkin cause him and Trev were doing the same design so they were seeing who could do it better.

Feeling Crafty

So this past weekend I was feeling very crafty. I wasn't able to go see my nephew so instead I made a couple things for him. First I just want to say that I absolutely love vinyl, their are so many things your able to do with it I love seeing what I can make next. So my first craft was a picture frame for Corver.. This is what I came up with.
Then I made this board with a saying on it for Corver also. Which I love.
Then, I decided I needed a valentines decoration so I put this on a glass block.. I think it turned out pretty cute.
Then I made this on a glass picture frame.
I love doing crafts, It helps me forget about being stressed. It's something I definately need to be doing more of. I love seeing what I can come up with!

Corver

I just got back from seeing my brother and their new baby. All I can say is he is so adorable! I can't get enough of him! Its amazing how much joy and love a baby can bring into the world. He's so innocent and precious I could just cuddle with him all day. Here are a few pics from today and from the hospital.

This year for Halloween I wanted to take pictures of my niece Lydia in her costume. I have been wanting to take photography classes but have not had the time or money, So I'm practicing until I can take a class. Here is just a couple pics that I took of her. She would not sit still the little stinker. But I think they still turned out cute.

then I decided to dress up my animals. Addie was a bat

CAliFoRnIA

I went to California For work and My Mom was able to come with me, We didn't have a ton of time to go out and do things cause I got off work late. But on Sunday I only had to work for a couple hours so we took advantage and drove around.
First stop: Santa Monica Pier and 3rd street Promenade. It was a Beautiful day at the beach so we walked around for a little bit, found something to eat.
This was the Pier

Second Stop: LA Temple, pretty temple, very different but still pretty. We were hoping to get in a session but I got off work too late that we weren't able to make it. So atleast we got to go take pictures.

Third Stop: Hollywood!! We drove around- my mom was my celebrity look out, we did see one celebrity coming out of a store on Sunset Boulevard but I have no clue who it was- pretty sure he was a basketball player. So we drove up to the Walk of fame and started our walk- had no clue how many stars there were! We probably didn't even see half of them and my feet were killing me!! So we went back to the car after going about three blocks on each side of the street. I also really wanted to see the Hollywood sign and when we got there I saw it but didn't take a picture because I wanted to get closer, well by the time we got back to the car it was dark and you couldn't see the sign!! I was so bummed.....

We stayed at the Ritz-Carlton, which is a very very nice hotel and we had a very pretty view! here's the view in the morning.
Here's the view at night.
and FINALLY before we left to the airport I drove back up to the Hollywood sign cause I just had to get a picture. It's very small in the background but it's there and that's all that matters!
It was a very fun trip, wish I had more time to do stuff with my Mom but I am so glad she was able to come and keep me company!
